Designed to reflect the brides matrimonial vision, Karen Sabag bridal couture is one of the few designers in New York that is utilising the highest fabrication and craftsmanship in the couture process. Guided by the designer herself, Karen Sabag & her mother Lydia Sabag. Each Karen Sabag bride is encouraged to follow their bridal design from conception to completion, as each aspect of their vision is brought to life with the finest attention to detail.

YOUR APPOINTMENT

Located in the heart of Manhasset, Long Island, each Karen Sabag bridal piece commences with a one-to-one personal consultation with the designer herself, Karen Sabag. It is a unique and important opportunity to explore each element of her bridal vision. During this, a bride is shown all custom fabric and embroidery swatches. After, Karen Sabag has a sketch drawn out, with bride made specially for her.

THE MAKING OF

Following the initial consultation, once everything finalized Karen Sabag and her team curate the couture sketch and begin the brides matrimonial vision and to enhance her natural beauty. Having all the final design ideas transformed from vision to reality.

Having the embroiderers in Europe, begin and complete the artwork. Its a unique and personal process, the development and creation of a couture design which can take up to several months. As the design is seamlessly passed from embroidery department, to the pattern team and finally to us, at the Karen Sabag couture atelier. Throughout this process, the brides piece may pass through the hands of twenty plus artisans, each individually an expert in their field.

THE VEIL

From floor-sweeping veils in delicately embellished Chantilly lace to face-framing tulle veils, jewelled headpiece, bird caged veils and embrodiered and hand sewn veils Karen Sabag offer a wide range of bespoke handcrafted veils, designed to beautifully balance and enhance your bridal look.

THE FINAL FITTING

The brides gown is completely handcrafted and can take anywhere from 100 to 800 hours to create, with full time tailors and seamstresses using their expertise - from the smallest detail to the more eye catching aspects - bringing the brides & and Karen's thoughts onto the gown. Inside details are important as the outside. Karen Sabag makes sure lining, hem and all other details are completely properly for percison and perfection. Once all is completed, you will be called to the atelier for your final fitting. Our team of seamstresses will make sure the gown fits properly on your body insuring your exact measurements. Having it fit like a golve. Lastly, the gown is steamed and packed, and ready for your special day. which we thank you for sharing with us here at the Karen Sabag atelier
